Folks: I had a funny fishing story today.. My wife went fishing with Me (I must have the perfect wife as she LOVES to fish)..Anyway, we were catching a few using Yellow (there goes that color yellow working good this year) Foam spiders.. And she got hung in a bush.. So, I'm in the front with the foot controlled trolling motor...I say "Let Me back you up to the bush and you can break off the little branch and get your fly back".. OK.. I started backing the boat up and she says "Be my luck I'll get there and a big snake will be over there".. All of a sudden I hear about the loudest screaming I'd ever heard ... She is yelling "Snake, Snake.. Go forward Chuck, Go Forward" ...I turn around and there is one of the biggest Cotton Mouth snakes I'd ever seen right on the bank next to the bank...She snatches soooo hard she breaks off the fly, leader and tippet.. I said "Do ya want me to back , back up there where you can get the fly back??" I can't repeat her answer as it is a family group... Put it this way, I think she had to change her pants when we got home ROFL. I'm just glad it was HER end of the boat cause I would have turned the boat over then walked (well RAN) on water LOL..
