I caught a very patient snapping turtle.  He was playing around my line, and
I lost track of him.  He got hooked in the web of his shoulder on a size 10
hook.  Not big, but it held him pretty good.  I don't know why I reacted as
I did, or why he put up with it, but I reeled in the snapping turtle,
reached down, and took the hook out, without being snapped.  He cooperated
fully, and then swam away.
