Just got back from visiting my son in Freemantle. I set myself a target of catching a Flathead on the fly before I left England and guess what, I caught one second cast on a pink and white Clouser. Now I thought this is easy I should catch loads and guess what, yep it was the only one I caught. The weather was a bit windy most of the time and with travelling about I did not get much time for fly fishing although we did catch loads of fish on baits. Beautiful scenery around the coasts with big cliffs and sandy bays and I will just have to save hard to get back and explore some more. Birdie
