The larger sizes are for early in the year.
I also tie a wet version with only 2 turns of soft hen hackle and swept back
wing.

Hi Guys
Some days are good others are GREAT ! Left for work early, finished
work
early, went to the river and found the biggest hatch of "Iron Blue
Duns"
I've ever seen. And every fish in the river feeding.
Used a size 10 I.B.D dry fly (later in the season the flies will be
smaller
and lighter) with a cane rod and silk line. Caught and returned trout
and
grayling.
Off to bed early cause I'm getting up early again just in case......
