Jimmy: I have always thought that dirt track racing is the best.. My brother just quit racing two years ago, after it just got too expensive.. He raced at the Talladega Short track here.. I did all his welding, cause I saw a roll cage he built one time and I didn't want him to kill himself..Those '37 Fords were great looking cars..I look forward to seeing the fly.. Chuck

Subject: [VFB] NASCAR Swap - JIMMY D

Chuck, round track racing and me go way back to the mid - 50's. My Dad's auto shop, Moore Brothers, owned a 1937 flathead Ford coupe dirt track car. It was black with a white number 7, with a pair of white dice painted on the doors and trunk, four dots on one, three dots on the other. Below them - "Pair-A-Dice". I did the lettering and painting. My uncle Roy did the driving and won a pile of races at our little quarter-mile dirt track, just outside of Florence, Alabama. SO, my fly will be Jimmy D's Pair-A-Dice. It will be a black and white fly of my own design. I guarantee you it will be different. :-P
