Talking about Reno, there used to be (10 years ago?) a flyfishing radio-show there that was hosted by a fella named Strayhorn Spadewater. THere's a tribute website to him and his show, but I can never raise anyone. (read it- it's slap-stick funny)
http://www.angelfire.com/in/artimages/FISH.html Has anyone ever heard this hilarious fly-fishing show, and would you know what happened to Strayhorn? If not, does anyone know how to get in touch with Neale Streeks (the author)? We were both on the same radio show once. They even did a show on Tony's home water- the White River. Try the nearby Truckee River. If you have more time and want to rent a boat and go stillwater fishing, there's Lake Davis and Pyramid Lake (which is wadeable) within a reasonable drive. Best resource there is The Reno Fly Shop: http://www.renoflyshop.com/ Wes Wada Bend, Oregon On 4/17/07, Michael Bliss < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I have a conference in the Reno area the first of May.
