Tom, have you been to flyfishradio. They have some terrific audio podcasts there. If you don't have an ipod, you can listen to their podcasts on the computer without downloading Itunes.

I bought a little iPod shuffle to use while exercising and looked for some Podcasts that would hold my attention better than music. I was surprised to find several sites on iTunes for both fly fishing and Photoshop instruction (I'm always looking for good ideas for my students). There were many that were excellent, and I couldn't help thinking that it would be VERY cool to make Podcasts of Sowbug participants doing their thing. The way to do it would be to set up a small studio in an adjacent room for the recording, and have the interested participants sign up to have a short movie made of them tying their fly or flies. Then the person making the Podcasts could edit the video and publish them on a weekly basis. If this were pulled off well, it would give the Sowbug tons of publicity and attract even more astute tiers. It is something to think about. If you want to check out the Flytying podcasts, you don't need an iPod, just download a free copy of iTunes, go to the iTunes store and hit the Podcast link. All of the flyfishing podcasts are free. I watched two that showed Amanda Swisher tying a Deceiver and and Saltwater Clouser. Watching her hands work was like poetry in motion. She is obviously a very accomplished tyer. Is it "tyer" or "tier"?
