What about the places you do know? Had frustrating day fishing
today...three hits no hookups and at one point we were among small redfish
(rat reds as they are called down here) chasing something and swirling all over
the place and ignoring every fly thrown at them...clousers, half & halfs ,
rattle rousers, shrimp imitations, spoon flies, velcro minnows, and refusing it
all. Then just to rub it in a bull red of 30+ pounds comes swimming by within
3 to 5 feet of the boat so near the surface he might as well been sticking his
tongue out at us. We finally gave up and left the rat reds to chase whatever
and got back to the dock where we replaced the carpet on a couple of the runner
boards on the Ron's trailer. Then after we got back we replaced the left rear
turn signal/taillight/brakelight on my van. Unfortunately this is the last
weekend Ron and I wii be able to go fishing until May 26th. I doubt I'll even
be able to get a solo panfishing trip in until after the GCC Conclave & Expo
May 18-20. Too much real work and stuff to do
 for the GCC Conclave.
