Sorry about missing the QFTD and JFTD today. My daughter in law's
grandmother died yesterday morning. Jody and I are keeping our two
grandaughters through Friday, which is when the funeral will be held..
Cathie is with her mother handling funeral, etc. So, Grandma Jody and
I have definitely got our hands full with Katie - 3 year old, and Allie
B who will be 2 in July. We went down to Georgetown yesterday p.m. and
picked them up. Cathie had driven from Houston and was a mess. got
stopped by DPS on way, but the trooper was forgiving, when he heard
Cathies dilemma and saw those two cute little grandaughters of ours.
Got home around 8:00 and finally got the gals to bed at 11:30 Looks
like it's going to be another late night also, storms last night and 4
inches of rain, storming now and another 1 1/2 inch has fallen. So far,
the roughest part of these storms have missed us. Thank God. Hopefully
I can return with the QFTD and JFTD tomorrow.
Being a Grandpa is great, but Boy . . . . . I guess that's why we have
our kids when we're young. :-P
