I think obesity IN it's old age LOL.. I'm not a trout fisherman, but wouldn't a fish that size have to be VERY old??? Chuck

They cited 3 possible causes for it's death: (since trauma and disease were
ruled out)
High water temp, low oxygen, or old age.

I vote for obesity.  That's one fat fish.
