The best one out there IMHO is flickr.com. It gives you a limit on uploads per month (20MB for free) and unlimited space. It's easy to link the pictures from it. No Banner pop up etc. I've been using it for the last couple years with no problems. If you want, there is an upgrade option for 25/year that gives you a bit more options and more upload space. I usually only use a small percentage of my upload quota each month and have close to 1000 images on there. Here is a link to my picture stream - http://flickr.com/photos/pacres/.
