Chili Peppers are like real chili. Lot's of recipes and it all 'tastes' good (to fish, at least). I'm getting ready to head out to the 'mile' for a fly-fishing camp-out. Have about 6 different Chili Pepper recipes (variations) I want to try out - size, color, weight, etc. I modeled some of these after CP's I received in the CP swap, and they have lots of orange in them. Will file a report. Also have some new minnow and nymph patterns to give a whirl to. Winston sent a 8'-9", 5wt LT, 5-piece for Cheryl to try out. Boy I just love those guys. They have fabulous rods and bend over backwards to help out. I'm hesitant to teach Cheryl how to flyfish. I just know she's going to out-fish me. I just hope the Mile is not muddied up too much from that last snow-fall. The N. Platte here is flowing mud, but the river just above the Gray's Reef dam is clear, so we have a good chance that the Mile, which is way up in the chain, is still clear. Anyone can Google up a map and find Pathfinder Reservoir in Wyoming and the incoming river. That's the 'Miracle Mile' that was so famous in the 60's and 70's. Going to squeeze off a few rounds through the 'Baby-boomer', too. So if anyone needs 1/2" brass for foam dyes, I'll have another batch to send out. Tally-Ho, I'm off... DonO
