VMC makes a size 30 spade end bait hook, made from violin wire. Can't find them on the net, but I used to get them from the mfg. rep. They look bigger because they have a longer shank. Fall-back is that they are wire hooks, and thus pretty weak when compared to Mustad's forged gold #32s.
I also have a size smaller than Mustad #32, probably a #34, un-named mfg., long shank, spade end, and made of the same violin wire. Oh yeah, the Mustads have a barb and the wire hooks don't. I have photos of all of these hooks together.
