Steve: Same here. Both of my sons are serving in the military. The younger, Christopher, is currently in Iraq. The other, Mike, is in language training to become an interrogator. We pray daily that they serve with honor, and return home safely.

Memorial Day has come to represent an important time for reflection within our family too. My father-in-law is one of the few surviving Iwo Jima veterans, my son is a veteran of the Iraqi War. We honor those who put themselves in harm's way to defend our country and our principals.
