Lake Waco now 11 feet above normal. She climbed another 8 feet during the night. Forecast is T-storms and rain every day through June 3. All lake access is closed. She's at 471.5 ft and flood stage is 500 ft. Current release is 2106 cfs. The highest I've seen the lake is 533 ft, just 10 feet from the top of the dam. That was in 90-91, so we've a ways to go yet. In any event it's gonna be a while before Lake Waco or any of our other 7 close by lakes will be open again. Guess I'll have to go to NM to fish - Dangit! ;-)

Chuck, looks like you might get some rain by tonight.
