That sounds a lot like the very common baitfish, whonoseius whocaresius . No
one has actually ever seen a living example but since the stripers eat them so
readily they must be a staple in their diet.

Rene, Fixed your e-mail address. Sorry! Do you have my mailing address??

Arne, Rene was correct, I was out fishing! Didn't get too much, but it beats
being at work.

I'd love to have you on board as a replacement tyer if anybody drops out or
is unable to tie flies for any reason. I will let you know if that happens. I
am thinking of doing a few more swaps in the near future, so I'll let you know
about those as well.

Mark, I'll shoot you an e-mail when I get them. Mine are ready to be
fished!!!

Clouser Swappers, I had 6 rockfish (striped bass, stripers) in about 30
minutes on my clouser fly. Biggest was approximatly 20 inches. We call it a
"baby striper" pattern, but honestly I have no clue what baitfish it's
resembling. Maybe if someone is very proficient in baitfish identification
they could help identify. White/silver belly with a light line of chartruse
where the lateral line would be, and then a purple back to it. About 1-2
inches long.

Eddy,
I answer on list, because I asume you did the same fault as many of the
english speaking people - And I see it in the list. My last name ends
with 'mann', see the double n. The translation of mann is man. Therefore
my name (and email addy) is often miss-written with one n. That's the
usual mistake.
