Earlier this week I got a call from the Editor In Chief of Texas Fish & Game magazine asking me to take over as North Zone Fishing Editor for TF&G. I had been hoping for a slot with TF&G for some time, since I've written numerous pieces for them. Guess they like my work. My stuff, "North Texas Hot Spots", featuring selected lakes, will start appearing with the September issue of this year. I'll be relying on local lake guides for up to date info, tips, etc. on all lakes from San Antonio northward. Basically, I will be responsible for everything in Texas except, the Salt, South Region, and South Texas Plains.
