Hey Rene, Try looking at the Pentax Optio, I bought it last year because my guide from the Angler's Inn in West Virginia recommended it. I saw the way his worked and how easy it was and the great pictures. Plus it's water proof. He's dropped it in the river so many times and nothing ever went wrong. In fact, it even takes underwater videos and pics. I use it in places where cameras aren't allowed because of flash pictures and this camera takes great shots indoors without the flash. Good luck, I know there are a lot of cameras out there to choose from. I like the Pentax,,,small, easy to carry in my vest and takes a great picture,,which by the way, it also comes with the cable to do a direct download into my laptop, battery charger and a small memory card (I've gotten 3 more memory cards since because I don't like leaving my picures on the computer,, I guess maybe I should just transfer them to disks) That will be my next thing to do, when I have the time LOL Ray
