Ken,
I guess you are rising doughters like me. I have a son as well, can see
the differences..
Anyway, like you said, I often see some neat material in these stores, the
most exciting fun is to buy nail polish, sometimes I tell the cassier what
I'm doing with the nail polish, sometimes not. Don't know, what's mor
exciting.. when they know what I'm doing with the polish, or when they
have only their imagination. Best, when buying black or green nailpolish.
After carnival season you can get some really exciting colors (for
fishing, for sure).
On the other side, I have some stuff in my boxes, I use hardly. The color,
seams to be neat when in the store, but is not realy fishy. That's the
value of the flyshops, you get preselected stuff whith the right color and
hue. And that's what you pay for.
All the best
Rene

Sad to say, I know the stuff you're talking about. :)
Yes, I'm always a sight in the dollar/euro type of stores. Always picking
up dusters and the little girls toy aisle is possibly one of the best
ones in the store! I have some shiny fairy wing material that I need to
get around to experimenting with!
Swap note: flies are striped. just need to package them up. I'll
experiment with photos tonight.
