Garry: Thanks for the info... I broke my caliper so I had to measure mine the
best I could and they came out to 11/32, which would be pretty close to
those..Can you order those rods in slow, medium, or fast??? Reason I ask that is
cause I just checked mine and I was blown away by what I found.. The rod I use
is 8' and is a 5/6wt and is pretty slow action... I am very used to it and it
only weighs 9.2 ounces rod, reel, line and fly...Well, my other one is a real
stiff rod and i could have sworn it would have weighed at least twice what the
first one does.. It is a 9' 5/6wt rod.. I got the old postal scales back out,
and 9.2 ounces.. I could not believe what I was seeing. My 16 yr old son and I
just got in from fishing a little while ago. I caught 32 bluegills, (he caught
ZERO and says he will NOT be going back with Me but that is a different story
LOL)and I must have had to cast at least 32 times per fish to catch those which
would be 1024 cast.. While I am sore some, It is a cinch to cast that rod that
many times and not be worn out.. The stiff rod would wear Me out in 200 casts
easy..Does this normally occur just with the difference in the action of the
rod?? I mean the part about if feeling three times as heavy, and it feels like
it had five times the wind resistance of the one I use...I'm still scratching
my head over those rod, reel, and lines both weighing exactly the same, which
would mean that the 9' would probably be even a tiny bit smaller diameter than
the 8'..Which you'd think would mean less wind resistance.. Just sign Me,
Confused LOL, Chuck

Can somebody tell Me the diameter in MM's or inches of their Temple Fork
Outfitters, Lefty Kreh series at the base where the rod ends and the handle
begins??? Thanks, Chuck

Sorry to take so long, it's been a busy few days here.

  TFO - 7wt 4pc 10' long : 0.366 in at the hook keeper - I believe this is a
Left Kreh Rod

TFO 7wt 5pc 10' long: 0.363 at the hook keeper -- this is a Jim Teeny rod
