Harmen, Byard, Wes, and Chris

I had to go off line for a while so I wanted to say thanks to your reply on
my reel questions... you guys are always the best, so sorry I never got back
to you all. I wasn't ignoring you folks. I was looking for something in the
$200 range and I finally settled on a Redington CDL 5/6 (lifetime warranty).
After using an Okuma integrity this thing is a beauty and I never knew what
I was missing when it comes to a smooth reel. I just got back from Montana
and the reel performed beautifully. Thanks again everyone.

You can see what the reel looks like in these two photos.

Also I'll be posting updated photos of fly fishing in Montana throughout the
week... I'll also be going back in September if anyone wants to meet up for
some chit chat, coffee, and maybe even wet a line... let me know.

So, the first installment of my Montana fishing report (West Fork of Rock
Creek) can be found via the link below. Including my First ever BULL
trout... of course after a couple of photos she was promptly released back
to the water as these are protected.
