The "Electric Chicken" color was first seen on bass plugs. Here's an example:

A local flyfishing guide, Jason Shockey, loved the name and tied a
Clouser in that color just as a lark. To his surprise he found that
to be the hottest smallmouth streamer of the year.
Thus, the "Electric Chicken Clouser".
