Ken: I was last there in 04. There is so much to see in Berlin. Full of history. There is a bombed out cathedral which (purposely) has not been rebuilt. Brandenburg Gate. the Stadt Building that houses the legislature. If you can, you should get a guided tour through it, and go up on the top. Well worth it. Checkpoint Charlie and the Museum. Lots of important buildings and sculptures. Check out Rick Steve's Europe, and his books and videos. Check Barnes and Noble in the travel section. A lot of reminders of the Cold War years. Many of the old apartment buildings are now converted into hotels.
