Jack, I am a reformed golf freak and can testify that
some of the folks with the most expensive sticks would
have done far better by staying with the entry level
clubs and invested the balance in lessons and then
maybe spent the following years budget on better
sticks. I guess that does help keep the fly and golf
companies in business. This is not unlike the fly
fisher who will grab a dozen of the "hot fly" without
asking what the leader and presentation should be
like. I am guilty in both the golf and fishing
examples.
