Folks: I have been quiet on this issue. First time for everything huh?? LOL.
First off, i don't think there is anything WRONG with the group. Actually, I
blame the weather this year in large part for my lack of participation, or at
least cutting wayyyy back on my posts.. Reason I say that is that last year I
was catching 60-80 bluegills all Summer long..And, I'd come home post about it,
bragging etc..This year, with the worst drought in our history, and with our
hottest Summer on record with WEEKS of 100+ degree days.. And, the water temp
hit 99+ degrees.Well, that took away a lot of my posting this year cause I
would catch 6-8 fish per trip on average. Not much to brag about..Like I said I
don't think there is anything WRONG with the group..I think it is just going
through a lull for the reasons I mentioned and others too. . Ppl having new
Grand Babies, like Myself who is gonna get my FIRST attention. People
traveling. Ppl having health issues. etc etc.It's still the BEST fly
fishing/tying group on the Net, whether email/forum or otherwise. That's my 3
cents worth..We are getting stormy weather right now, and maybe that will stir
up and cool down the water, get the fish biting and give me something to come
brag about LOL..Chuck
