Can someone suggest a video-capture card to buy that works good under linux? I have checked the list with working cards, but i think some cards work better than others..? It should be able to capture 768 x 576 (PAL). It should have some sort of hardware compression because I think it would be very hard for the computer to capture 2 hours without dropping frames without it. Is hardware-MJPEG enough and I convert the files after the capture (i know it would take very long time), or do you recommend a card some sort of MPEG compression? I think price between $200 - 400 would be great.
