AFAIK ffmpeg has the MV fixed at +/- 16 or +/- 8 depending
on the codec, but it's something that is easy to change....
indeed with the patches the motion estimation is fast so it
would be nice to have the option of change the MV range, I
would suggest that to Gerard.
