I remember I tried bttv-0.8.x to watch tv and capture at one time. When I choose 512x384 - xawtv stopped update picture. Now I installed videodevX and bttv2. When I choose 512x384 and run QTrec - picture in xawtv is only little distorted, but I can see what I am recording.
