Do you have a view about this problem?  In my code I disabled this code:

And bttv will not stay on the composite input through attempts to mute and
unmute.  Of course, muting no longer does anything - but that's OK for me.

Do you agree its a bttv v4l2 bug?  (does affect xawtv too when it uses the
v4l2 interface.
