The test register is used for selecting different test modes. None of these are relevent once a part is put on board. > Also does anyone knows what "Raw 8X Data" format is? It is the only format > not explained my my datascheet. The RAW mode is covered under the "VBI Output Interface" section of the data sheet. It is used in VBI frame output mode. Essentially it gives you packetized raw ADC data (no video decoding is performed).
