Hi, I am new to the list, sorry for asking faq questions. If the following questions are not appropriate for this list, please point me a right mailing list:
1. I've just bought a logitech quickcam express webcam. I've installed qce driver, but I haven't got a video capture card yet. Can I play the webcam without a capture card? Is there any open source for play the webcan without a capture card (xawtv certainly does not work without the video capture card)? 2. The /dev/video0 is of 0 size on my machine (RH 7.1). I've tried xawtv, the v4l-conf resulted an error "can't open /dev/video0: No such device". How can I configure /dev/video0?
