I don't know about the parallel WebCam 3 (perhaps it uses CPiA chipset: http://webcam.sourceforge.net ). IIRC, the parallel WebCam 2 uses CPiA. The WebCam 5 isn't currently supported, but the chip is documented. >In the other case, how can I get /dev/video0 for my webcam? > With USB WebCam 3, just plug the camera in (if you are using a fairly recent Linux distro). If you are asking how to create /dev/video0 itself, here's how: "mknod /dev/video0 c 81 0" -- Mark McClelland [EMAIL PROTECTED] PGP public key fingerprint: 317C 58AC 1B39 2AB0 AB96 EB38 0B6F 731F 3573 75CC _______________________________________________ Video4linux-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/video4linux-list
