Have anyone seen the specification for this card? It supposedly contains hardware mpeg encoding. Do anyone have any more information about it?
http://www.americas.creative.com/products/product.asp?Product=222&Nav=B From the info I have gathered: It contains a chip named CT5882-UBQ, (which supposedly is not a StreamMachine encoder chip), nor a philips video encoder. A large NEC chip: D61050GD (http://www.nec.co.jp/press/en/9909/1601.html), a Micronas MSP3430G chip and a Micronas VPX3226E (similar function as a bt848). The tuner is a Temic 3X7 708 4136 DY5/FY5. Supposedly the D61050GD is an older mpeg2 compression engine.
