Are you saying that directfb uses the VSYNC when displaying frames? My experience (I just tried it on a G400 minutes ago) is that it's not quite a smooth a picture as syncfb. Any ideas why that would be? Also, tangently related: a) is there any way to get BES TV-Out working on a G400 with directfb and b) is there any Radeon support directfb (complete with VSYNC support, TV-Out and BES)?
