I'm sorry I'm still a bit more newbie than that - actually I can't find a application to run which will deal with the camera itself - is there a application included in the base distributions (or that I can add) which will let me do rudimentary operations with a camera? (Like obtain a snapshot?)Out of the box, no mods required: Philips Vesta Pro SC has the best image quality I've seen so far but some idiosyncracies with frame rate and image size. Still excellent.
