Great! Thanks Justin... Just a little snag:
Installing alsa solves the recording problem, but reproducing with Mplayer gives the following error message when advancing/rewinding: DEMUXER: Too many (1816 in 8389151 bytes) video packets in the buffer! (maybe you play a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed) I don't know where the error lies... AND: audio stops at this moment. Have to rewind completely to restart audio. Is this a problem with the recorder or the playback?
