try this:
1 - log in as root
2 - create a directory
   # mkdir bttv2 ; cd bttv2
3 - download the bttv2 from http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net
   # wget http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/download/driver-20020219.tgz
4 - compile and install it
   # make ; make install
5 - load the driver
   # modprobe bttv2

in my box, this "make install" doesnt work out, so I myself have to copy 
the compiled files to the /lib/modules/[kernel version]/misc
