Hello all! I have a serious problem playing movies on my Linux machine. The problem occurs whenever i try to resize the movie window or switch from one workspace to another. The X server freezes (along with other important things like my keyboard). I'm unable to kill it (i mean from another host) and in this case the only solution known to me is to reboot the machine. Recently, I have switched from Mandrake 8.1 to RH7.3. Under Mandrake i had other sorts of problems but video worked perfect :). I suppose the problem lie within my X server for different video players result in the same problem. Any ideas why it happens?
