By "audio cable" you mean the connector from the back of the video card into the lin-in hole, and not the cable inside the case that goes from the video card into the board, right? I just want to make sure. There is a hole on the video card labelled "audio"...I'm assuming this is the one you're talking about. Would plugging headphones directly in there work?
