Makes > sense. Well, tonight I downloaded and compiled gnomemeeting (the most recent one from their Web site). Then I tried it with 2.4.19 kernel (no changes!) and all 4 models of IBM cameras. All worked out of the box, no configuration of anything was needed, and I tested it connecting to a Win32 box running NetMeeting. I will make patches to VIDIOCSPICT handler anyway, but looks like the current gnomemeeting does not need them.
