Hi there! I am totally new to video capture using Linux. I could find that v4l is the kernel package and API that provides the feature, but no easy HOW-TO on the subject. That's fine, I've been using Linux for 10 years and I'll manage to learn how to do this. :)
I got a Pinacle LINX video capture device, an USB device. Anyone has experience with this and can give me a hint? Or direct me to a "video capture using Linux for dummies"? Thanks in advance!
