I see, sounds rare, there is a similar effect due to colour 1 ccd
cameras, please check page 11 of the following:

This affect appears because of the use of mosaic filters in the ccd.

Anyway this doesn't explain why with saa7146 doesn't happen.

Yes, a Sony XC999 camera. Using the same camera and cables, I won't
get such an effect using for example an Integral FlashBus MV card
(which is saa7146 based).
