Gerd's said some time ago that he *did* have documentation for this
chip. He just didn't have time to write a driver yet, since he was
working on the v4l2 stuff.

There is already an opensource driver available at
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/deinterlace/DScaler/DScaler/
CX2388x* files. Though that driver is for Windows :-(
