I noticed this too, but I'm not entirely sure what to do about it. The fact is 
that FM stereo radio works perfectly in windows.

I don't even really know where to begin looking at the code, as I haven't ever 
looked at driver code in my life, and I'm a novice programmer in the scheme 
of things.

Good luck in finding more info, and I hope we can all come to a point where we 
can enjoy stereo radio in linux :)
