im running RH8 with all the v4l stuff installed and when i try to use xawtv or avview it tells me that /dev/video /dev/video0 /dev/video1, etc... do not exist. the actual files are there however they are not linked to anything in the /dev/ folder (this tells me that the v4l modules are not loaded because they have not been needed yet???)
