Gidday there,

I'm trying to get an application running that pipes data from v4l into
some XVideo extension thingy (at least I think that's how to describe
it). I have an intel 845 video card (problem #1) and I've installed the
Rawhide RPMs for XF86 4.2.99. Finally, I get a response to xvinfo, and
rootv -verbose shows that there are a couple of interesting adaptors.

        But no displayed video.

When I run xawtv -xv the window appears all green and crappy, and when
I move windows into certain areas of the screen, I see a semi-interlaced
version of the moved window appearing amongst the green crap.
Everything looks good on xawtv when I run 'xawtv -noxv'.

I've downloaded a bunch of stuff from rawhide, including kernel 2.4.20,
xawtv-3.81. (and glibc, and popt and heaps of other RPM crap).

Did I miss something? Is it simply the poor i845 support in XF86?

Thanks in advance

Joshua
