I've patched the videodevX.h file including <linux/highmem.h>, otherwise depmod command fails on
an unresolved symbol.
The card is available from /proc/pci, but modprobe meteor2 failed (segmentation fault) and from /proc/modules
meteor2 is : meteor2 364576 (initializing)
I've not set the kernel with mem=xxM to allow DMA, should I do ?

I've installed snapshot v4l2-20030318.tar.gz successfully but not enable to compile meteor2-2.1.1, seems this driver still base on the old videodevX-20020330.tgz <ftp://ftp.thedirks.org/pub/v4l2/kernel2.4/videodevX/videodevX-20020330.tgz>
package from Bill Dirks ( [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> )!
Have you installed a meteor2 card running with v4l2-20030318.tar.gz driver and meteor2 driver from meteor2-2.1.1.tgz ??
Sofar I haven't tried v4l2-20030318.tar.gz and I won't have much time to look at this in the near future. For now use the old version if you can.
