The camera on the Pace Bt878 card is a digital camera.
It is not a PAL video camera.
Also on the PACE card is another Brooktree Chip,
something like a Bt829 or something like that (I forget now)
The Bt829 interfaced to the pace camera which has its own
protocol.
The Bt829 then went into the 'digital video in' mode on the
Bt878 which the bbtv driver has no support for
(actually it uses some of the GPIO pins I think).
There are full datasheets for the other Brooktree chip on the
Brooktree (now called Connextant) web site.
It also includes a reference design using a camera which looks
identical to the Pace Camera.
I took a look at it 4 months ago, and deviced it was not
worth the effort of extending the driver to work for
this chip and camera, as I've only ever seen pace
well this kit and they have gone bust.
Feel free to contact me for any further information.
However, you are best buying a PAL video camera from Maplins
and connecting it to the compisite video in on the card.
