Just uploaded bttv-0.7.28. This version has a new, experimental audio
driver for the tda/tea/... chips, named "experimental.c" for now.
I want to get rid off all these small drivers. Right now is way to much
code duplication and cut&paste programming. I want to have a single
driver for them all, at least for the simple ones which have just a few
registers for volume, treble, bass, mono/stereo and source selection.
As I don't have hardware to test on, the new driver is completely
untested. bttv.c has no changes yet. To test stuff load the bttv module
with "autoload=0" and manually load the new driver (hint: it has a debug
insmod option) instead of the old ones.
Comments welcome. Bugfixes even more welcome.
