I've got an Osprey card which has 3 RCA connectors and one S-video, and
has a BT878 chip on it and little else. Has anyone gotten this card
working with Redhat 6.1? The list of supported hardware on RedHat's
support page claims this is a supported chipset, but the built-in
drivers certainly don't do anything useful.

I was able to use bttvgrab to attempt to get images from it. They are
all blue screens. The video source is known-good (connected via a
distribution amplifier to several capture devices). I've tried capturing
from all ports, and tried moving the video among ports, all with no
success.

I can't tell what version of the bttv.c driver is in the RedHat 6.1
kernel. It would appear that no version number is placed in the comments
of the source code (making it tough to figure out what it is).

The system in question does not have a video display on it. The planned
use is such that no VGA display can be present. Images are being
captured and transmitted over the 'net. This means I can't easily use a
VGA display or any applications which require one in the course of
debugging.

So, the real question in all of this is: Has anyone gotten this card to
work? What drivers did you use? Were they the stock ones in the RedHat
6.1 distribution? 6.2 distribution?
